FarmerTrack

FarmerTrack Privacy Notice

Version 2026-10-pilot · part of the Pilot Terms of Use
Draft for review. Have a lawyer read this before the first outside farm signs in.

What we keep

The farm records you enter; the name, email and role of each login; a log of sign-in attempts (time, outcome and network address) so lockouts and break-in attempts can be traced; and a change log of who changed which record and when.

How it is kept apart from other farms

Every record belongs to one farm. The database itself refuses to show a farm's records to any other farm's login, separately from the application's own checks.

Who can see it

The logins your farm owner creates, with the access the owner gives them. FarmerTrack staff only through a logged support session, which the owner can read and can switch off. No one else, unless the law requires it, in which case we will tell you unless the law forbids that.

Outside services

Market prices are fetched from the USDA Market News service using the key you enter; nothing about your farm is sent to USDA. If you connect John Deere Operations Center, field records are fetched from John Deere under the access you approve there. Your records are not sent to advertising or analytics services, and are not used to train AI models.

Backups and deletion

Nightly backups are encrypted and stored off the server. When a farm leaves, its records are deleted from the live system within 30 days and roll out of backups within 90 days.
